At The Knot, I lead the design for wedding websites, specializing in transforming legacy platforms into a modern, AI-integrated UX. As a full-stack designer, I bridge the gap between "Northstar" visions and scalable engineering execution across Web and iOS.

AI
Since early 2025, I have spearheaded the integration of AI into The Knot’s core product ecosystem. Tasked by executive leadership to architect a three-year "Northstar" vision, I developed a roadmap designed to leapfrog key competitors (including Zola, Joy, and Squarespace) by leveraging our couple’s data to deliver an experience utilizing AI to automate website configuration and help generate content. The strategic impact of this work was so significant that leadership fast-tracked the vision into immediate quarterly OKRs, expanding the project from a vertical feature into a foundational AI model for the entire platform. Customization
My expertise across the Wedding Websites and Invitations verticals centers on architecting accessible customization experiences. I specialize in bridging the gap between high-quality designs and functional usability, ensuring users can intuitively customize, review, and publish their designs across Desktop and iOS. Most recently, I have led the strategic integration of Generative AI into these workflows to streamline the customization process. We aim to reduce the cognitive load of "starting from scratch," allowing our customers to achieve professional-grade results with minimal friction.
Personas
To align our product roadmap with high-value user segments, I developed three primary personas centered on the Invitations and Wedding Website verticals. By synthesizing quantitative marketing data with qualitative insights from direct user interviews, I mapped the distinct motivations and pain points of our audience. These archetypes serve as a strategic bridge, balancing the lived experience of our current users with the long-term growth objectives of the business to ensure our feature prioritizations drive both empathy and conversion.
Cross-Functional Roadmap Leadership
As a strategic partner in the annual and quarterly planning cycles, I translate high-level business objectives and multi-channel user insights into actionable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). My role serves as a bridge between commercial requirements and user-centricity, synthesizing marketing data, behavioral research, and competitive benchmarks to define our product Northstar. By acting as the primary advocate for the user, I ensure that our technical and business milestones are grounded in solving real-world friction points, ultimately driving platform growth through evidence-based design.
Competitive Analysis
I lead comprehensive competitive audits to ensure our product maintains a dominant market position. By conducting rigorous, feature-by-feature analyses of the industry landscape, benchmarking direct competitors against The Knot, I identify critical experience gaps and emerging white-space opportunities. My approach goes beyond static UI comparisons; I track long-term evolution and shifting feature parity to ensure our roadmap isn't just reacting to the market, but actively outpacing it. This continuous pulse on the competition allows me to advocate for high-impact innovations that solidify our standing as the category leader.
Northstar Visions
My core expertise lies in architecting "Northstar" visions, defining a holistic product trajectory for the 1-to-5-year horizon. By decoupling the creative process from immediate technical constraints, I synthesize landscape data and business goals into high-fidelity, aspirational "Future States." This unconstrained exploration ensures a blue-sky destination for the product. However, my strength also lies in the practical translation of this vision; I deconstruct the long-term concepts into a series of attainable, versioned releases, creating a strategic bridge from today’s MVP to tomorrow’s market-leading experience.
